I tore my Achilles Tendon on my right foot.
I was not able to use my right foot after injuring myself at work. It was very painful and I initially couldn’t drive (which was very hard since i have to drive a lot for work).
I chose Dr. Nuefeld and Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Center because they were recommended to me by a friend of mine who is a chiropractor.
Dr. Neufeld operated on my torn Achilles Tendon. After my surgery I saw Dr. Neufeld and he was very encouraging and everything went very smoothly. He was very personable, which I liked, and everyone at the office was very nice.
Having torn my achilles tendon I hope I never have to go through surgery and rehab again. However, if you do tear your Achilles Tendon, I would definitely recommend Dr. Nuefeld and The Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Center. They were very profesional and laid back at the same time. After 4 months I was back doing yoga and swimming again. It’s a nice feeling getting back to my normal routine.
When I hurt myself and was trying to find out if I should have surgery or what was the best option, Dr. Nuefeld gave it to me straight. He said surgery was the fastest way to recover. I believe I recovered faster than others before I made sure to follow the doctor's instructions and I did my exercises and did physical therapy.
