A bunion and hammertoe on my right foot. Also arthritis on my right foot.
What did your pain or other symptoms prevent you from doing?
I could not walk comfortably, or hike. I avoided walking as much as I could.

Surgery on right midfoot for arthritis and also to correct bunion and hammertoe.
I was inconvenienced because I had to stay off my foot, but the inconvenience was well worth it because I now walk without pain three and a half months after surgery. Physical therapy has concluded as was my final visit with Dr. Neufeld. Hurray for walking with no pain in my right foot!
Do not procrastinate like I did, waiting 10 years. I went to 7 podiatrists who recommended surgery, but I was very afraid. I now wish I had had the surgery so I wouldn’t have suffered so long. The staff was remarkable in that every question I asked, every concern I had, every feeling I expressed were listened to, acknowledged and answered. From the Physician Assistant to the boot fitters, to the people in Radiology, Physical Therapy, and Billing. I chose physical therapy at the same location I went for my initial visit with Dr. Neufeld.
