For the first few weeks, I was very weak and tender in the area of the surgery. However, following Dr. Sanders advice I was able to start physical therapy on time and have been progressing ahead of what I understand to be typical. It’s been a little over four months since my surgery and while I’m not back to my pre-injury fitness level yet, I’m currently able to jog 2+ miles at time and ride a road bike for 45+ minutes with little difficulty.
