Biography
Greetings! I am Derek Chow, DPT, and I proudly serve as a dedicated physical therapist at The Centers for Advanced Orthopedics. With a deep-rooted passion for helping individuals regain their mobility and improve their quality of life, I have dedicated my career to the field of physical therapy.
I earned my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the State University of New York at Downstate in 2014, marking the beginning of my commitment to helping others on their path to recovery. This educational journey has equipped me with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide the highest level of care to my patients.
Beyond my professional life, I find immense joy in spending quality time with my wonderful partner. Together, we cherish the opportunity to work out in the gym, going to yoga classes and playing volleyball. Our shared goal is to nurture and challenge our physical, mental and emotional beings into not only exceptional athletes but also outstanding individuals, both on and off the court.
My clinical interests are rooted in joint replacement, after surgeries, spine care, and general orthopedic limitations. I am deeply committed to continually expanding my expertise in these areas to provide the best possible care to my patients. As a physical therapist, my ultimate mission is to facilitate the delivery of superior patient care at every stage of the recovery process.
