Biography
Kat graduated from Georgetown University with her Bachelors in Health Science. After working in Breast Cancer research for several years, she went on to the University of Miami to complete her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2012. After graduation, she practiced in Dallas, TX at a general Orthopedic clinic where she was trained in Aquatic therapy and worked with a wide variety of patients, extensively those with hip disorders, in addition to Outpatient Orthopedics. Kat is a Graston certified provider as well as being certified in Functional Dry Needling which she incorporates into her treatment daily. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and recently received her Running Coach certification through RRCA. She is a certified APTA clinical instructor and has worked with several students from local universities. Her specialties include working with athletes, specifically runners, manual therapy, hip and shoulder rehabilitation, and postural reeducation.
